Finally getting back to blogging business as our family recovers from my niece’s out-of-state wedding and a week in northern Michigan visiting my mother-in-law and helping her tend her vineyard. Yes, vineyard. She’s a seventy-something powerhouse retiree and widow who, four years ago, decided to launch a business growing grapes for the area’s burgeoning wine country. No big deal, just 400-odd grapevines.

So, back to business. If you’re here for the first time, you’re enjoying yourself, and you like the idea of winning a free book, then click on over to my sweepstakes page and enter for a chance to win The Artist’s Way; A Spiritual Path to Higher Creativity by Julia Cameron.
I’ve had this book for more than a decade, and it’ll remain with me ’til the end, as it’s been added to my reference shelf.
If you’re anything like me, you may have…issues…with your chosen form of art/craft/creative expression. Whether it’s stage fright or a lack of confidence in your skill or a long-ago moment of shame, something stands in the way of creative nirvana. This book contains a comprehensive collection of tools that will coach the reader through much of the internal sludge that mires us. The cover reads, “A course in discovering and recovering your creative self,” and that’s exactly what it is.
So, if you decide to enter, good luck! If you missed it, check out last month’s winner here.
See you soon 🙂
